PHOENIX (AP) -- Jonathan Quick made 28 saves for his second straight shutout, leading the Los Angeles Kings to a 2-0 over the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday night.
On Tuesday night, Quick shut out St. Louis in the Kings' home opener. He has 16 career shutouts.
Dustin Brown and Kyle Clifford scored in the second period.
The Kings improved to 4-1-1, and Phoenix dropped to 2-3-1 in front of an announced crowd of 7,128.
