Video games, when you really break them down, are just a series of moments. Most of the time, games are fun--duh, that's why we play them, right? Here are my top 10 must-experience gaming moments of 2010:

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is by far the greatest racing game created of its genre. When switching to new developer Criterion, many people had doubts about whether they could create a Need for Speed game with the same intensity as their Burnout series. It is safe to say that they have succeeded in all aspects.


If you're a racing game fan, 2010 has definitely been your year so far. Awesome racing sims include Split/Second, Blur, ModNation Racers, and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, among others.
