With all the NFL Wild Card nonsense finally sorted out, the world is now separated into two categories: Those who have a team to root for, and those who don't. (As a Giants fan, the Sports Gamer's season couldn't have ended worse for me. Wah. Oh well. I can always re-watch the 2008 Super Bowl…)

Yes, I have played the game. Yes, I have met the nice people who are building the game. Yes, the game is looking excellent so far.
You see, it’s easy to dismiss ModNation as just another kart racing game. Or worse, as a poor man's Mario Kart. (Though the Sports Gamer does enjoy his Mario Kart.)
I'm here to tell you that ModNation is so much more than that.

Fact: I play a lot of Wii games. And, while I do like the fact that you can turn the Wii remote sideways and use the D-pad and 1 and 2 buttons, I don't always feel that playing this way gives me enough fine-tuned control during my most hectic gaming moments.
