Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Roddick and … you! In the most realistic tennis experience on Wii, you can play as the pros or embark on your own tennis career. Either way, you can play with total motion control. It is amazing how you see what your player sees. You are practically in the moment! With Wii Motion Plus there’s no more delay when you swing. And if you’re not one for motion control, you can play straight up with the buttons and work out those thumbs!
The two basic modes are the Exhibition and World Tour. In Exhibition it’s just a quick match: pick your player and get going. In World Tour mode, you create your own player then keep getting better. Eventually you will enter tournaments and solidify your place in tennis history!
In addition to these game modes you can play Arcade mode and Training. In Training you practice to sharpen your skills. Then in Arcade mode, you can play singles or doubles and compete in some of the biggest tennis championships in the world based on the majors like Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and the Australian Open.
In closing, this is a great game; especially with Wii Motion Plus. Even if you don’t have Motion Plus, it’s still pretty good, there will just be a small delay on your swing, occasionally. If you love tennis or even if you don’t, you need this game for Wii!
