Madden NFL 11 is the latest installment in the “Madden” franchise. Many people feared that with so many new additions and tweaks to the game play, “Madden” was straying from its roots and becoming too complicated. Well, this year things have changed. First, the franchise mode is back and better than ever. You can do all the same things as in years past, such as draft and sign prospects and hire coaches, but now the process is much simpler, and, in my opinion, more fun. There also is an option which would allow the CPU to do all of these tasks… the only thing you need to worry about is playing the game!

Little League World Series Baseball 2010 is perfect for players who are not looking for a serious baseball game. The game is cartoonish, with features such as your players catching fire and performing better after you build your meter. The game often drifts between reality and fantasy. It is realistic because you have to do things such as switching-up pitches you throw and shifting your fielders. It is unrealistic because the players look like cartoons and you can enhance a their ability to perform in the middle of the game.

The Cages: Pro Style Batting Practice is a great, unique game. Instead of a regular baseball game, where there are just straight exhibitions, this game focuses on the fundamentals of hitting. It's also compatible with Wii Motion Plus, which means no more delayed swings...

Transformers: War For Cybertron is set in a time long before the one in the cartoon series. It tells an origin story that Transformers fans may not know. I liked that the game is in the third person, which is a nice break from all the first-person games that are so popular now...

One thing I liked about Despicable Me: Minion* Mayhem was that the game has a ton of stages. In each level, you have to try to maneuver your Minion through obstacles, which vary from teeny robots to humongous spikes.
Sound tough? Well don't worry. During your adventure, you'll find other Minions to help you complete each level. For example, there is a big Minion that makes beating up on enemy robots a breeze.
One of the things that I didn’t like about this game is that it is not that interesting overall. If you have played Mario Vs Donkey Kong: March of the Minis for the DSi Ware Service, then you'll be pretty familiar with Minion Mayhem's point: get your avatar from the starting point to the end point. All you do is lead your Minion past obstacles to a door that signals the end of a level. That's what the whole game is about...
