It's unclear when Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose will return to the court this season, but when he does he'll have some spiffy new sneakers to wear. Adidas just released images of his newest signature shoe, the D Rose 3.5. The spiral pattern on the shoe is symbolic of Rose's desire to tighten up his game and his hometown receives numerous shout-outs on the shoe, including a "Rooted in Chicago" graphic and a copy of the Chicago flag.
From a performance standpoint, the shoes feature a tight fit which makes them more responsive when making quick cuts on the court. Mesh on the ankle keeps them comfortable while also providing support.
The shoes will be available on January 31 for $160. See more pictures after the jump.

Most television networks have a rule that when fans run onto the field during a game, that they don't broadcast it because it might inspire others to do the same. But when two dogs that take the field during a game in Turkey, the results were just too cute not to air. We have no idea what the TV commentators said during the interruption of a game between Turkish club Galatasaray and the German team VfR Aalen, but we imagine it went something like this:
Commentator 1: Two dogs have run onto the field.
Commentator 2: Awww, that is so cute. Look at the little puppies.
Commentator 1: Go, boy, go!
Commentator 2: Oh yeah, I guess we should get back to the game. But those dogs really were adorable.

Being a legend in one sport doesn't necessarily translate to success in another. Former NFL running back Marshall Faulk learned that lesson the hard way from golf great Arnold Palmer. Palmer pokes fun at Faulk spending so much time "at the beach" as he struggles to hit a ball out of a bunker, but is kind enough to offer him the beverage that is named after him. All of this is to help promote the new video game Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14.

Carmelo Anthony's newest signature sneaker, the Jordan Melo M9, was released on Wednesday. Weighing in at 13 ounces, it is the lightest Jordan Melo ever. Straps made of Nike's Flywire technology lock the foot in (and also spell out an M for Melo on the sides).
"I love the idea of being locked in, whether I’m on the perimeter or making a move in the post,” Anthony said. "I want to protect my ankles while not restricting my cutting ability. After working closely with the Jordan Brand team during development stages, the JORDAN MELO M9 fits my game perfectly."
The inspiration for the kicks came from Melo's love of luxury watches and he also wanted a shoe that reminded him of a superhero costume.
The Jordan Melo M9 will sell for $140 and is available nationwide now. See more colorways of the shoe after the jump.
