For the first time this season, there is a new team atop the power rankings. After the Broncos lost to the Colts in a thrilling Sunday night game, the Chiefs became the league’s only team that has yet to lose. And they’re now the team to beat.
Below them, the top 10 remains mostly the same. As the season approaches the halfway point, the division races will get more exciting. Most divisions don’t have a clear favorite, so every game will become more important.

Before the Miami Heat take on the Bulls on October 29, LeBron and company will recieve their 2013 NBA Championship rings. And when they do, they'll be decked out in some new apparel, courtesy of adidas.
The Heat will wear a commemorative track jacket and jersey featuring the years of the team's three titles (2006, 2012, 2013), the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy, and accents like team word-marks. A t-shirt and four different hats round out what adidas is calling the NBA Championship Ring Ceremony Collection.
Here's a closer look at the jacket and jersey the Heat will be sporting:
The World Series begins tonight! The St. Louis Cardinals meet the Boston Red Sox at Fenway for Game 1 of the Fall Classic, and it's a matchup of the two best teams in baseball.
The Cardinals had the best regular season record in the National League this year, then in the playoffs eliminated the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Divisional round and the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. The Red Sox hit the playoffs with the best record in baseball. Boston dispatched the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round, then sent the Tigers back to Detroit in the ALCS.
The Red Sox-Cardinals matchup will be a duel between two clubs with power lineups and excellent pitching. The Series could go either way, but in the end there has to be a winner — and the editors of SI Kids think they know who that will be! Check our picks below, then hit the comments section to tell us what team you think will win the World Series and why!

The Green Bay Packers have one of the most iconic uniforms in sports: The green-and-yellow color combo, the helmet with the G, the wide numbers. But in its game against the Cleveland Browns yesterday, Green Bay hit the field wearing jerseys the team and its fans hadn't seen in 84 years.
The Packers wore throwback jerseys originally used by the team in 1929. The green was replaced by blue, the iconic helmet became a cheddar cheese bowl without a logo, and those wide numbers stretching from shoulder to shoulder were dots on the center of players' chests. The jerseys looked a bit like the New York Jets' throwbacks, with a bit of the University of Michigan mixed in.
Here are a few more looks at the Packs' throwbacks:
