Maryland Terrapins Unveil New 'Black Ops' Basketball Uniforms For Game Against Duke 5

maryland black ops uniformsContinuing the University of Maryland Terrapins' attempt to become the East coast version of the Oregon Ducks, Under Armour and the team unveiled new basketball uniforms. This "Black Ops" edition of the men's b-ball jerseys, shorts and shoes. They'll wear these uniforms against Duke this weekend.

Under Armour's founder, Kevin Plank, went to Maryland, just like Nike's founder Phil Knight attended Oregon. So we get endless changes to football and basketball uniforms for the two schools.

But that's not always a bad thing. And, actually, in this case it's a great thing. We think it's a really cool design. The yellow, black and red look great together. Under Armour found a subtle way to integrate the yellow and black from the state flag in the piping around the arms and legs, then in the shoelaces as well. More »

Nike's NFL Pro Bowl uniforms revealed 7

Let's be honest, you probably don't care that much about the Pro Bowl. Basically, the game is a free vacation to Hawaii for the best players who didn't make it to the Super Bowl. The only difference is that, unlike your normal lei-wearing luau attendees, Pro Bowlers have to show up and play football for a few hours. But at least they'll be doing so in cool uniforms. Today, Nike unveiled the jerseys and pants that players will wear in Sunday's game. The Nike Elite 51 uniforms are inspired by the designs that Pro Bowlers wore in the 1970s. The NFC version is above and the AFC version is after the jump.
