As the awaited moment finally comes, the cars speed off like 4-year-olds after an ice cream truck. The crowd screams as their favorite car takes off. NASCAR is fun to watch, but is this activity really a sport?

Even though I’m on a run of three straight football columns, I’d almost feel like my time writing for SI KIDS would be incomplete if I didn’t do my yearly draft column. The NFL Draft combines wild exaggeration, hypothetical scenarios, and Chris Berman into one huge event, and naturally I couldn’t miss writing about it. Yes, the big day was yesterday. The day when Nike changed everything by unveiling the new NFL uniforms (Reebok had been making them).

And as you can see, they… look exactly the same. I asked the Gearhead what he thought. He said “Well, they have two holes to put your arms through. And another hole where your neck goes.”
