Over the last ten years, Super Bowl Media Day has gone from a day dedicated to gathering information about the two teams competing in the big game to a day of reporters dressing up like brides and asking quarterbacks to marry them. (Um, can we just get to the game please?) It’s silly and it’s fun and it’s usually a waste of time.
At least that’s how I USED to feel. That was before I saw Tiquan Underwood’s haircut today. That ‘do, my friends, is news-worthy. Keep reading to see why...
The January/February issue of Sports Illustrated Kids is devoted to science fiction, which got us wondering what could happen if the NBA lockout went on too long. The results were kind of scary. Thank goodness the players and owners were able to come to an agreement.

It’s going to be a funky February in the NBA. To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the American Basketball Association, the NBA is dressing up its biggest stars in groovy throwback uniforms from the ABA’s heyday. Keep reading to see the Big Three in their throwbacks.
Welcome to Week 3 of my NBA power rankings! This week there were some big jumps forward (Denver and Houston) and some teams in freefall (I'm looking at you, New Orleans). Check out where your team ranks and let me know what you think in the comments section!

To help ring in the Chinese New Year, the NBA will host its first ever Chinese New Year Celebration from January 21 – 28. More than just a week long party, the celebration will include live games, custom coverage and a variety of events in both the U.S. and China.

It’s a good thing we have two weeks to regroup after conference championship weekend. I don’t know if I could handle the Super Bowl any sooner after two such tense, edge-of-your-couch playoff battles. One game went to overtime while the other one should have.
Still, something was missing: where were the heroes? Instead of two individuals coming through in the clutch and forever inking their names in NFL lore, we had two goats commit flubs at the worst possible times to…forever ink their names in NFL lore. Keep reading to find out who’s responsible for setting up a Super Bowl XLII rematch between the Giants and the Pats.

Conference Championship weekend is here. Two trips to the Super Bowl are on the line. And yet, the Wiz is nowhere to be seen. According to an e-mail he sent me this morning, he’s sick. (I can just picture it now: the Wiz sitting at home on the couch in his customized Troy Polamalu Snuggie, blowing his nose while watching his Super Bowl XLIII DVD and remembering the good times. Oh well, get well soon, buddy!) But enough about the Wiz, we’ve got two playoff games to break down. Here we go.
