Astro's new A30 headset is basically a lightweight, scaled-down version of their A40 model (which is used by gamers during professional tournaments), designed to provide the same superior audio quality, minus the cumbersome set-up.

In fact, the A30 is so versatile, it's the only headset that can be used while playing handheld, console or PC titles. Cool, right? It's also fully compatible with Astro's MixAmp unit, features a detachable boom mic (combined, these two features allow you to enjoy full voice communication during online play), and comes bundled with a collection of interchangeable speaker stickers, the better to personalize your equipment.

For sports fans, Thursday and Friday are the best two days of the year: NCAA Tournament first round games!

And what's better about March Madness than the upsets? There's nothing like seeing the unknown, disrespected underdog rise up and knock off a team from one of the powerhouse conferences. Here's a look at the teams I think have the best chance at shocking the world in Round 1:

The Skate It franchise goes portable once again this May, courtesy of Skate It for the iPhone.

Now... anyone familiar with the franchise might have doubts about such a port. And with good reason! Skate It's (the console version) dual-analog control scheme would appear to be a poor fit for the iPhone's touchscreen set-up.

Luckily for us, EA Sports appears to have developed an effecient workaround...

As Opening Day nears, sports analysts and fans alike are answering one question, “what are your predictions for the 2010 MLB Season?” I would like to make a different type of prediction, one that may not prove to be true this season, or even in the next few seasons to come. This prediction may be bold, and I may be doubted, but let me be the first to say that the Baltimore Orioles are on the verge of becoming a prominent team in Major League Baseball.

Smartphones aren't made much more intelligently (get it?!) than T-Mobile's new HTC HD2. This thing does pretty much everything you could ever ask of your cellphone... and then does a bunch of other stuff you've probably only seen in movies.

Like what? Well, aside from all the standard smartphone accessories -- 5 megapixel camera, music player, voice recognition, etc. -- the HD2 comes equipped with a built-in Barnes & Noble eReader (meaning the "I left my books at home" excuse is officially on its last legs), a BlockBuster onDemand application (for downloading videos), a mobile TV app., full Instant Messaging support... Oh... and a memory card that's been PRE-LOADED with the Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movies...

17-year-old Austin Jamaicans shows off the version of the Jordan M6 he designed.

Every true sneakerhead has spent at least a little time daydreaming about what it might be like to create their own pair of sneakers. If you're like me, you even drew up a few pairs in your notebook when you were supposed to be doing homework.

Austin Jamaicans is different though. He actually created a limited edition model of Carmelo Anthony's Jordan M6!

No, seriously. See that sneaker Austin's holding in the pic. He created it! From scratch!!!...
