NFL Power Rankings Week 12 55

On this holiday weekend, I’d like to share what I’m thankful for. First of all, I’m thankful for no dominant teams stepping up this season, otherwise the Power Rankings would be quite boring from week to week. Second, as a huge Bears fan, I’m thankful that Chicago somehow managed to stay in first place deep into November. Third, I’m thankful that Thanksgiving is the one holiday where it’s OK to eat as much stuffing as humanly possible. Seriously, I love stuffing. I bet I could beat Albert Haynesworth in a stuffing eating contest. So before I head home to chow down on a whole bunch of food in my biggest pair of sweatpants, I wanted to post the power rankings for everyone to digest. Let me know what you think in the comments and have a happy Thanksgiving! More »

NFL Power Rankings Week 11 67

Bye-bye, bye weeks! Now that Week 10 is in the rearview mirror, so are vacation days for NFL players. And just like the players, the fans won’t get another day off for the rest of the season, because they’ll be spending all of their spare time trying to figure out who’s in the playoffs and who isn’t. 18 teams are above .500 right now, which means plenty of fans still have hopes and dreams of the playoffs. It makes for wonderful drama…and a real headache when it comes to sorting out the power rankings. Keep reading to see who landed where. And of course, let me know what you think in the comments below. More »

I am a Redskins fan. My birthday is in November and I can’t think of a better birthday present than the Dallas Cowboys starting the season 2-7.

However, I hate the fact that when I turn on any sports talk show, all I hear them talking about is the Cowboys this, Wade Phillips that. When will it ever end?
