I may be the baseball expert here at SI Kids but I am also a tennis fanatic. I always enjoy the Australian Open, The French Open and Wimbledon, but of all the majors, my favorite is the U.S. Open.
As the last grand slam of the year, it gives players a chance to make a statement and end on a high note. Read on for a quick guide to the five men and five women to pay attention to this year...

On September 5, the Jordan Brand will pay tribute to the awesomness that is Michael Jordan by releasing the JORDAN MOMENTS COLLECTION, a three-pack of souped-up Jordans.
Each sneaker in the collection is tied to a different moment of Jordan's career: the Air Jordan High Moments (left) is a modified version of the first Air Jordan ever released (waaaaay back in 1984), the Air Jordan 2009 Moments (center) is the last Air Jordan to be released, and the Jordan 6 Rings Moments (right) feature design elements from each pair of Jordans worn by MJ during his six NBA Championship wins (Air Jordan's VI, VII, VIII, XI, XII and XIII).
Click the "More" tab for up-close-and-personal pics of each sneaker.
