Kobe's newest sneaker won't be available until the day after Christmas, but that shouldn't stop you from adding them to your wish list. This year's edition, inspired in-part by the footwear worn during soccer matches, is even lower to the ground than last year's low-tops. They're also a full ounce lighter (checking in at 10.6 oz.), allowing Bryant to stop-and-go at the drop of a dime.

As if he needed any help on the court.

The Nike Zoom Kobe V will be available exclusively on nikeid.nike.com beginning December 26th. A wide-scale release will follow on January 1st.

What's a trip in Kobe Bryant's shoes feel like? Acclaimed filmmaker Spike Lee attempts to answer that question with this day-in-the-life DVD, trailing the NBA super-duper-duperstar as he prepared for a game against the San Antonio Spurs late in the 2008 season.

Viewers are given unprecedented access to Bryant: everything from his arrival at the Staples Center prior to tip-off, his pre-game preparations, in-game thoughts and more!

Kobe Doin' Work retails for $29.99, and can be found on amazon.com.

Holiday Wish List: Madden NFL 10, NBA Live, FIFA 10 (iPhone) 19

Not content with only releasing the best sports sims available for home gaming consoles, EA Sports has taken their most popular titles - NBA Live, Madden NFL 10 and FIFA 10 - to the iPhone.

The result? The titles lack the graphical punch of the the big-screen versions, and a few gameplay omissions are noticeable (they couldn't fit all the real-life arenas into the game, and the Franchise/GM modes were also removed), but they aren't missing much else. Every athlete, every team, even head-to-head matchups (via the iPhone's online interface) and a more simplified Career mode... it's all in there.

NBA Live, Madden NFL 10 and FIFA 10 retail for $6.99 each, and can be found on iTunes.

This new version of the PS3 console is smaller than the original model, but features all of big brother's best attributes, such as a built-in Blu Ray player and access to the PlayStation Network. And thanks to an improved internal design, slim here ALSO boasts more storage space (120GB, compared to the 80GB of storage space in PS3 V.1).

Oh. And did I mention it's cheaper?

The PlayStation 3 (120GB) retails for $299.00 and can be found on scea.com.
