Kobe's newest sneaker won't be available until the day after Christmas, but that shouldn't stop you from adding them to your wish list. This year's edition, inspired in-part by the footwear worn during soccer matches, is even lower to the ground than last year's low-tops. They're also a full ounce lighter (checking in at 10.6 oz.), allowing Bryant to stop-and-go at the drop of a dime.
As if he needed any help on the court.
The Nike Zoom Kobe V will be available exclusively on nikeid.nike.com beginning December 26th. A wide-scale release will follow on January 1st.

Not content with only releasing the best sports sims available for home gaming consoles, EA Sports has taken their most popular titles - NBA Live, Madden NFL 10 and FIFA 10 - to the iPhone.
The result? The titles lack the graphical punch of the the big-screen versions, and a few gameplay omissions are noticeable (they couldn't fit all the real-life arenas into the game, and the Franchise/GM modes were also removed), but they aren't missing much else. Every athlete, every team, even head-to-head matchups (via the iPhone's online interface) and a more simplified Career mode... it's all in there.
NBA Live, Madden NFL 10 and FIFA 10 retail for $6.99 each, and can be found on iTunes.More »
