Carmelo Anthony plays hard no matter who he's playing against, and that includes a bunch of litle kids. In this hilarious new commercial for Kids Foot Locker, the New York Knicks star flushes dunks, talks trash, and swats shots while hooping it up against some young ballers.

Tis the season for new basketball shoes. Fresh of releasing Kevin Durant's KD V, Nike revealed the newest version of Kobe Bryant's signature sneaker, the Kobe 8 System. It is the lightest shoe the Black Mamba has ever worn on the court. A size 9 weighs just 9.6 ounces. The upper on the Kobe 8 is made of 90 percent Nike Engineered Mesh and this marks the first time the company has used the material on a basketball shoe. The mesh helps cut down on weight and also makes the shoes incredibly flexible.
Another feature of the mesh is that it has a scale-like pattern, which fits well with the Black Mamba and is also appropriate because 2013 is the Year of the Snake in the Chinese Zodiac.
The sneakers will be available starting on December 20. See more photos of the shoe and a video describing the design process after the jump.

Mario Balotelli is known is somewhat of a strange character. The Manchester City striker (he's the one in the hat in the photo above) has used his iPad while sitting on the bench, had his house set on fire during a fireworks mishap, and built a race track for four-wheel all-terrain vehicles in his backyard. Given all that, it actually seems somewhat normal (or at least normal for Balotelli) that he wrapped his Bentley Continental GT in camouflage. Since the car costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe Balotelli was trying to keep it out of sight from would-be thieves. Or perhaps he hoped to use the sports car on bird watching expeditions and needed it to blend in with his natural surroundings. Or maybe this was just Balotelli being Balotelli.

It has to be lots of fun to be Tom Brady's teammate. He probably does a great Bill Belichick impersonation, and I'm sure he has lots of great hair care tips. According to this new Ugg commercial, there is also the added bonus of getting free slippers when you make the team. It may not be as awesome as having your quarterback introduce you to One Direction, but it's way better than a pair of gloves. Because when your feet are wrapped in the cozy comfort of the sheepskin lining, it makes you want to protect the blindside of the guy who gave them to you just a little bit more.

If you're one of the lucky few who is able to score a pair of Emmitt Smith's classic Reebok shoe, the ES22, then you will definitely have something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Reebok is releasing the shoes ($140 at Foot Locker) on Wednesday, November 21, the day before Thanksgiving, so you can have some fresh kicks when you play in your family's annual Turkey Bowl touch football game. Or better yet, when you're semi-conscious on the couch after eating waaaay too much stuffing and watching Emmitt's old team, the Dallas Cowboys, play the Washington Redskins.
The sneakers haven't been available since 1997 and have built up a bit of a celebrity following. Musical artist Swizz Beatz is a fan, and it's no surprise that NFL running backs Maurice Jones-Drew and Jamaal Charles like the shoe.

His teammate Russell Westbrook may be more of a fashion icon, but with his fifth signature shoe, it's clear that Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant doesn't want to be outdone in the style department. Durant's new Nike shoe, the KD V, features two types of cushioning: a Zoom unit in the forefoot and an Air unit in the heel. The red, yellow, and black colors are inspired by the state flag of Maryland, Durant's home state. The sneakers will be available on NikeID on November 6 and will be in stores on December 8.
Check out the video below to hear from Durant about what went into designing his new shoe.
