10 Questions With... Andrew Luck 9

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has plenty on his mind as he enters his second NFL season. One of those things: He wants you to get healthy and stay healthy.

Luck has teamed up with Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health to launch “Change the Play,” a program that encourages kids to live healthy. Luck and experts from the hospital created an eight-week, online, interactive health and fitness challenge. And last month, a few Change the Play challenge winners and their families had a block party with Luck, including a tour of Colts facilities.

“It’s been really fun to team up to inspire kids to be the quarterback of their own health,” Luck says. “Growing up, I was fortunate to have parents who taught us the importance of eating a balanced diet, staying active, exercising our minds and keeping stress in check. Those early lessons helped me get to where I am today. Making good health choices every day can not only be fun but can pay off in big ways down the road.”

Luck also checked in with us to answer the SI Kids 10 Questions personality quiz. Check out his answers, as well as photos from the Change the Play challenge, below…

My dad, Oliver Luck, wore number 12 in college. I wanted to continue the tradition.
