If you watch college sports, you know that the Tennessee Vols have one of the classic jerseys in D1 football — you could spot that bright orange a mile away! But for the 2013 season, the Volunteers are getting a new look courtesy of adidas and its TECHFIT line of athleticwear.
Earlier today, Tennessee and adidas revealed the Vols' new alternate jersey. It does away with orange as the primary color, replacing it with a smoke-blue. The orange is still part of the jersey, though, incorporated into the numbers, logos, and socks. The team's iconic T-logo helmet stays the same, but everything else has been overhauled. And the classic orange jerseys aren't being replaced — the alternate look is just being added to the team's style lineup.

No word yet on when Tennessee will wear the new threads, but they'll certainly make an impression the first time they hit the field. While we wait to see them in a game, you can get a feel for the new look in this video released by adidas today:
