The English Premier League has earned the reputation as one of the most exciting soccer leagues in the world. That's largely on the backs of the great players who come from around the world to play there, including stars from Italy, Spain and The Netherlands. As we get ready for the start of the
EPL season this weekend, we take a look at four players you need to watch this season.
1. Mario Balotelli
Forward, Manchester City
Balotelli delivered a sparkling performance for Italy at Euro 2012, scoring twice to knock out Germany in the semifinals and notching another beautiful goal against Ireland. He will look to carry that momentum into the EPL season.
2. Fernando Torres
Forward, Chelsea
Since signing with Chelsea for almost $80 million in 2011, Torres has scored just seven goals for the club in the Premier League. He was the top scorer for Spain at Euro 2012, which could be a sign that he is ready to be a bigger contributor for Chelsea.
3. Robin Van Persie
Forward, Manchester United
RVP led the Premier League last year with 30 goals as Arsenal finished in third place. After the blockbuster transfer deal this week, which saw Arsenal sell him to Manchester United, the Dutch striker will pair with Wayne Rooney for a dangerous goal-scoring combo at Old Trafford.
4. David de Gea
Goalkeeper, Manchester United
In his first season with United, de Gea was just as likely to make a brilliant save as he was to let in a soft goal. He will need to be more consistent for Man U to win the Premier League title.

GO real Madrid!!!! ronaldo is awesome!!!!!!
Can't wait to see Van Persie in a Man U jersey, but I don't think Torres is quite the same player any more. I doubt he is ready to lead Chelsea.
