Welcome to Week 4 of my NBA power rankings! The Bulls stay on top for another week, but there's a new team in last place (sorry, Charlotte fans). Check out where your team ranks and let me know what you think in the comments section!

1. Chicago Bulls:Point guard Derrick Rose was on fire over the past week. He averaged nearly 35 points a game as the Bulls went 2–1.
2. Miami Heat: With averages of 29.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 7 assists a game, LeBron James is having one of the greatest seasons in NBA history.
3. Oklahoma City Thunder:The Thunder's 16 wins are two more than the next-best team in the Western Conference.

4. Atlanta Hawks: The Hawks don't scare anyone, but they keep winning.
5. Philadelphia 76ers:Despite center Spencer Hawes being hampered by an Achilles injury, the Sixers have maintained a five-game lead in the weak Atlantic Division.
6. Los Angeles Clippers:As expected, the return of Chris Paul has given the Clippers a huge boost — they've won three straight games.
7. Denver Nuggets
8. Los Angeles Lakers
9. Dallas Mavericks
10. San Antonio Spurs
11. Orlando Magic:Inconsistent play by the Magic has star Dwight Howard fuming. The question is, will Howard finish the season with the team?
12. Indiana Pacers
13. Utah Jazz
14. Houston Rockets
15. Portland Trail Blazers
16. Memphis Grizzlies: Big man Zach Randolph may miss the rest of the season with a right knee injury. If that's the case, Memphis may trade for a post scorer such as Chris Kaman of the Hornets.
17. Boston Celtics
18. Minnesota Timberwolves:If the T-Wolves finish .500 this season, it would be a great step in their rebuilding process.
19. New York Knicks:Point guard Baron Davis could make his Knicks debut this week. He is the playmaker that the team desperately needs.
20. Milwaukee Bucks
21. Cleveland Cavaliers
22. Toronto Raptors
23. Golden State Warriors
24. Phoenix Suns
25. New Jersey Nets
26. Sacramento Kings
27. Washington Wizards:The Wiz finally climb out of the Power Rankings basement. No, they're not playing much better — it's just that the Bobcats, Pistons, and Hornets have gotten much worse.
28. New Orleans Hornets:With star Eric Gordon out with an injury, the Hornets have had major problems on offense.
29. Detroit Pistons:Big man Greg Monroe (15.7 points, 9.7 rebounds) is the only bright spot on this team.
30. Charlotte Bobcats:With nine straight losses, including a 33-point thrashing at the hands of the Lakers on Tuesday, the Bobcats are the NBA's worst team.

aaa

T-Wolves have to have a better season

no they do not the heat have a better season than the T-Wolves

heat are goin all the way!

Spurs and Magic at 10 & 11??? Neither of those team is very good. I like the Nuggets at 7 though they look good this year.

The top 3 teams are legit...there's a big dropoff in the NBA after that.

The heat are going to take everyone by suprise and win, but the clippers are also in the hunt so look for them to challenge in the playoffs also the celtics were off to a rocky start but they will bounce back and could go far into the playoffs.

I agree — the Celtics will improve drastically once they get healthy.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rockets should be at least at 5!!!!!

I HATE! Lac

Lebron James? one of the best seasons in NBA history? What about...
-Larry Bird in 1986?
-David Robinson in 1990?
-Michael Jordan anytime?
-Bill Russel for 13 years?
-And what about Shaq, with the Lakers?
Oh yeah, Magic Johnson too.

Thanks for your comment! Those guys had great stats as well. Note that I said LeBron is having "one of the greatest seasons" and not "the best season".

Dereck Rose is the best basketball player in the NBA so why dont u get over it ur just jealous... But the Chicago Bulls are going to win it all this yr YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget Wilt Chamberleine
