Brian's Bracelet Program (07/01/08)

Following in the tradition of cyclist Lance Armstrong, who showed that an athlete's jewelry could also help others with his Livestrong rubber bands, Baltimore Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts has teamed with GameWear to kick-start the Brian Bracelet's Program. All proceeds from sales of Brian's bracelets will benefit the University of Maryland Hospital for Children. (More)

The 2008 NBA Draft goes down tonight. Yay! In honor of the big event, the GearHead decided to get involved in the festivities. You won't find me arguing over who's going Number 1 (everyone knows it'll be D. Rose by now). Instead, I'm going to be looking at some of the awesome (and not-so-awesome) gear that will be on display when NBA Commissioner David Stern starts calling out names later today.
