DaShaun Wood scored 27 points for Wright State, and teammate Will Graham hit four free throws in the last 12 seconds to lead the Raiders past No. 19 Butler 60-55 last night. The win gave Wright State the Horizon League postseason title, and also secured the team's second trip to the NCAA tournament. Butler still looks like a solid bet to receive an at-large to the NCAA tournament. Other NCAA NewsPlayers from four elite basketball universities will be hitting the court this week with distinctly different Nike uniforms. Nike unveiled the new line of basketball uniforms Tuesday for the University of Florida, Ohio State University, University of Arizona and Syracuse University. The jerseys are tighter and the shorts are longer and baggier. And players have an option of "personalizing" their look with aerodynamic underlayer tops and leggings. Nike plans to start introducing personalized uniforms to all its NCAA-Nike partner schools beginning next fall. NBA ActionJason Terry scored 24 points to help the Dallas Mavericks finish off a milestone-filled, 102-89 victory over the New Jersey Nets. The victory was the Mavs' 16th in a row, and 23rd in a row at home this season. The franchise-best winning streaks have upped the Mavs' record to 51-9, enough to guarantee a spot in the playoffs even if they somehow don't win any of their final 22 games. MLB PreseasonDaisuke Matsuzaka threw three scoreless innings for the Boston Red Sox when he faced major league hitters for the first time Tuesday. Dice-K allowed two hits, walked one and struck out three to help Boston beat the Florida Marlins 14-6 in 10 innings. The right-hander threw 47 pitches, 31 for strikes, including a first-pitch strike to 10 of 12 batters. NHL ActionSidney Crosby scored his third shootout goal in four games and the Pittsburgh Penguins overcame a three-goal deficit for a 5-4 win against the Ottawa Senators. Despite being held without a point for the fourth time in five games, Crosby scored on Pittsburgh's third shot against Ray Emery, who made a glove save off the Pens' Evgeni Malkin after Eric Christensen beat him on the Penguins' first shootout attempt. Crosby scored the winner in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win over the New York Rangers . He also scored in the shootout Sunday as Christensen got the winner in a 4-3 victory over Philadelphia.
